When did everyone tell their boss

Im almost 19 weeks and havent told yet Is that bad? I was going to tell my boss today and chickened out

I told around 13 weeks. I was super paranoid and thought that people were suspecting- they werent lol.

I was 17 weeks when I told my boss. I don't think it's bad as long as you are comfortable making the announcement. I was starting to show so after she gave me one of those looks I told her. She was very happy for me. Good luck!

I plan on telling them at 16 weeks unless I start to show then I will spill at 12

I think im procrastinating cause I wear scrubs to work. You cant see a belly in these bad boys AT ALL

I told my immediate supervisor right after I got my BFP. Her and I work very closely together and I was freaked out that I was pregnant again. I never told the higher-ups. They eventually figured it out when I started showing.

I told my boss about 5 weeks. She was having me lift heavy boxes to clear an office for someone else and I paniced and told her!

I wanted to wait closer to 16 weeks too but I feel like I'm starting to show and I'm super paranoid too! I'm coming out after my ultrascreen next week and I'll be 13 weeks.

i'm nervous!

6 weeks....There was a lot going on in my Dept at the time and a bunch of future planning that needed to be done. He was wonderful about it and has been so far.

I plan on telling on Monday, I am just 12 weeks. Where I work is so gossipy and quite a few people have already guessed. It will just be a nice relief to spill the beans already. Keeping this secret is stressful!

#1 - I told at 12 weeks; wanted to wait until a promotion went through. They were happy for me.

#2 - I showed much earlier but hid under a lab coat for the first 10 weeks. Then my boss announced some re-org in our department so I had to spill earlier to her and her manager. A few days later I was on a business trip with some colleagues -- stranded in an airport with two guys who only wanted to get drunk -- had to tell them early, too.

#3 - I have my own company now - I just told my main customers this week (week 16). Most were nice and congratulatory but one guy said, "What - are you building a tribe out there in Suffolk?"

I told him when I got my results of my CVS back, around 16 weeks. I knew he wouldn't be happy about it, so I just wanted to get it over with.

I iust told at 12 weeks , it was very hard to avoid the happy hour outings and such. Plus I have a mini bump.

i didnt tell until i returned back to school in september- around 16 weeks. came out to a few more people at work at 18 weeks and its spread since then to most everyone else now.

I'm 12 weeks, and have NO plans on telling them anytime soon. It's a brand spankin new job and I'm totally nervous about telling them!!! Can you guys do it for me.

I told my boss right away. One reason because of what I do for a living and 2 she was screwing me at work and now I could throw my change of hours in her face,lol.

with all my pregnancies I told my boss as soon as I found out. Because of saftey precaution, I work in a kitchen and lift heavy cambro's and wanted to protect myself incase of anything.

My first pregnancy (which ended up in MC) I told right away. Mainly because of the type of job I have. I work at a veterinary hospital and sometimes have to deal with lifting heavy dogs etc. Well, since that ended in a MC I swore I wouldnt tell so soon the next time around. Im 10wks tomorrow and still havent told. Im trying to hold out until 12wks but will try to go as far as I can

I work for a very small office. I told my immediate boss around 7 weeks because of my schedule but swore her to secrecy. I'll tell everyone else around in about another week at 13 weeks.

I told very early on, with both pregnancies. Both times, we waited until we saw the heartbeat (around 6/7 weeks) before telling anyone. Then, over the course of a few days, we told family, friends, work, then went totally public (FB, etc.) in that order. I think by about 8 weeks, we were totally out, both times.

I don't think there is any "right time" to tell your boss, it has to be what you are comfortable with, the type of work setting you're in, how it will affect you performing your work duties, any changes that may be going on at your job, etc. For me, I work in a special ed preschool as a music therapist. It's such a close-knit family kind of environment. So I felt totally comfortable telling my principal early on. I knew she would be happy for me, and I knew there would be no negative impact from me telling her early on.

When I was around 19-20 weeks. I had just started to have a little bump at that point.
