BDTD Mom help....
These clothing sizes are confusing to me....in general (cause I know each brand is different) can someone please explain to me the difference between:
0-3 month
and regular 3 month
I know carters has some outfits that I had gotten at my shower that say 0-3 and then some that say 3 month.....are they the same or close enough? I have a whole bunch of newborn onsies and then next size up i have is 3 month (same with pants) and no 0-3 sizes. Should I buy 0-3 also (just a few) or would 3 month work as next transition from newborn (assuming baby fits in newborn)...
I am so lost

I would say that 0-3 months is the same as 3 months.
Usually you go by the last number...
if it says 3-6 months, that's the same as 6 months.
If it says 6-9 months, it's 9 months.

I'm finding that 0-3 month is smaller than 3 month for certain brands. DS right now is fitting into NB and 0-3 months. 3 months is still swimming on him in brands like Carter's. I wish I knew this prior to his birth. We were team  And I bought some 3 month stuff in gender neutral yellow duckies that won't fit him for a little while.

Hmmm okay....so if I have this so far as clothes I have...suggestions as to if I need anything else right now?
ONSIES
17 newborn (i know a lot!)
2 0-3 month
15 3 month
PANTS
2 newborn
1 0-3
10 3 month
SLEEPERS (one pieces - mainly with feetsies)
5 newborn
8 0-3 month
4 3 month
I may get a few more we actually get to pick out ourselves as opposed to what everyone else gave us..but was curious what sizes should focus on for each category based upon what we have....
Too stressful! hehe

I always found that 0-3 months were smaller than the regular 3 month clothing. My DS fit in 0-3 months when he was like 1 and 2 months old.

don't buy too many newborn outfits...only wear them for about a month
for my kids, carters ran very close to age.
0-3 was 0-3
3-6 was 3 to 6

How many 0-3 or 3 month outfits (I.e. Onsies sleepers pants ect) u suggest having to avoid doing wash every other day?

the majority of my kids' clothes were and still are carters and I found them very true to size..
when they turned 3 mo - they started wearing 3 months (+/- week)
when they turned 6 mo - they started wearing 6 mo clothes (+/- week)
..etc
Other brands that has the 0-3 months...they wore up to when they turned 3 months and 3-6 months they wore when they turned 3 mo up to when they turned 6 mo
