glucose test and no call back

So I took my glucose test on Tuesday and I still haven't gotten a call back with the results. The nurse told me the results would be in by Thursday. By the time I could call, nobody answered and it seems that the office closed early today. Nobody is picking up again! Why would they not call? I thought even if you pass, they call with results.

With my 1st DS they called with the results. They didn't call this time around. I asked for my results at my next appointment. I passed both times, so I don't know why they called the 1st time & not the 2nd.

When I was pregnant, I passed but I had to call to get the results. They didn't call me. However....... my OB's office was disorganized and once I took a test that was NOT ideal and they never called me for that either, I just ended up finding out at my appt a month later (elevated white blood cells.. it wasn't a huge deal and it ended up being fine.. but still)

Anyway, I think in general at least, no news is good news.. but still call tomorrow just for your own confirmation

Thanks!! I had a feeling that I failed so I just got a little worried. The pasta for lunch just didn't help me to think I would pass.

i was told by the lab i'd have the results the next day. 2 weeks later, i still never heard anything. assumed, naturally, I passed. go to my next scheduled appointment w/ OB, and find out I failed. i'd call until you get a definite answer.

My OB told me that if I passed, they don't call. The same goes with bloodwork, no issues, they don't call. He also told me if they were to call, when I could expect to receive the call around (it was about a week later, but was during the labor day holiday).

Sure enough, I got a call. My sugar was fine, but my iron was low so they wanted me on a supplement. He did tell me if I didn't hear back, I could always call.

I waited a week and never heard anything, so I called them and they told me I failed my 1hr. and had to go for a 3hr. I think they would of waited to tell me until my next appt, which was 3 weeks later. I would call.
