3d sono

If your office doesn't offer it, did you some place to have it done?

My office doesn't offer it and I think it would be so cool to get this done AND also possibly find out the sex a whole month earlier (my office doesn't do another sono until 20 weeks)

DH thinks that this is a waste of money. He thinks that there is no reason to have a pic of the baby in 3d and we can wait an additional month to find out the sex.

You can go to another place to have them done but I was also told to wait until later in the pregnancy because they do not have any body fat until later and the pictures are not as nice. I am waiting until I reach the beginning of the 3rd tri before I go if I am going to get them done.

part of me wanted to get it done but dh also thought it was a waste of money and he wanted to be surprised as to what the baby looks like when he's born. although IMO its a waste of money b/c i think all the babies look the same in the 3d pics.

I really wanted to do this too at a separate office for the video and pics you get BUTTTT DH disagrees with me and we are trying to watch our money. He'd rather save a bit more for newborn pictures and I have to agree.

We went to Impact Sonogram in LI. We got tons of pics on CD and hard copy for I thnk $75. IMO it was well worth it
