Anyone else?

I am only 6 1/2 weeks. But for the past week or so I have a pain in my lower back (almost by my bottom.) I am a teacher and thinking its b/c im on my feet now? Just curious if this happened to anyone else in the beginning? Its not constant but more when I sit for longer periods of time or stand. And when I lift things....thanks ladies

I have pain in my tailbone thatgets worse when i walk or the weather is bad. But it didn't start till recently. Im20 weeks or so.

Are you wearing heels? This happened to me in the beginning with my first two pregnancies because I was working and wearing heels all the time.
Now that I'm a WAHM, I can wear flip flops or other comfortable shoes and I didn't have that problem.

Later in my first pregnancy, 25+ weeks, the Relaxin hormone kicks in high gear to help spread your hips for the baby. That caused my SI joint to pop out continually and cause major pain, especially on stairs. I saw a physical therapist weekly to put it back in place. Then my lower two ribs on the right loosen and eventually my DD kicked them out of place.

One thing the physical therapist told me was the best shoes are athletic shoes, the worst are flip flops or ballet slipper type - basically shoes with no sole support. I wear heels to work as well and she said if I couldn't wear sneakers, heels were next best.

I have this too. I keep complaining to DH that my tailbone hurts. I am telling you between that and everything else I am falling apart. He thinks I am a hypochondriac...but when I see others complaining about the same stuff I know I am not crazy!

Mine hurst right down by my tailbone as well. I had a sono today and the doc said its completely normal. I teach and recently went back to work and he said its prob b/c im on my feet all day...o well, it is what it is!
