Diaper bag contents
I'm planning to buy items for my diaper bag.. could you guys tell me whats in yours.. TIA

For a nb I had:
4 diapers
2 burp clothes
wipes, powder, lotion, q-tips, vasoline
2 paci's
change of clothes
a hat and socks
rattle
at least 1 breastmilk bottle in a small insolated cooler pack
thin blanket
wallet
cell phone
purel
pump in my car
For my 20 month old
change of clothes
2 regular diapers and 2 overnight diapers
wipes, lotion, baby wash, q-tips, powder
cherrios and some snack of some sort
crayons and paper
sunscreen, chap stick
hat, socks
recieving blanket to play peek a boo
fork/spoon
sippy cup and a waterbottle with her juice/water mix if we'll be gone awhile
tylenol/motrin
cell, wallet, purell

My DS is almost 12 weeks and i have
handful of diapers
wips, vaseline, sample size of desitin
3 bibs, 2 burp cloths
change of clothes including socks and a hat
the divided travel container of formula
2-4 bottles depending how long i am out
a toy
2 pacifiers
purell
receiving blanket
my wallet, sunglasses, cell phone

Wipes
q-tips and diaper cream
changing mat
plastic baggies (for stinky diapers)
toys/rattles
pacifiers
Change of clothes (entire outfit + onesie)
receiving blanket
For me: Wallet, cell phone, chapstick, snack (usually a Luna or granola bar), sunglasses, bottle of water
eta: this is what I had in my diaper bag when DD was a newborn. Now I'd add snacks, a jacket, teething gel/tablets/tylenol, bibs, and a sippy cup. She's 9 months old.

thank you everyone!! i was throwing in nipple cream, nipple shield all the whole world in there..  this reallly helps!!

You might not need to use a nipple shield. They're not recommended unless you have major latching problems.
Bring the nipple cream - it doesn't take up much room and if you're in pain, it's a lifesaver.
