Glucose test in 2 days!
So I finally have my glucose test on Tuesday and I am so nervous! My appt is also late! It's at 5:15 pm. So what am I supposed to eat during the day? I guess plain foods? I also have to fast 2 hours before. What should I do to get the best results?

I had my glucose test at 5:30pm. I had a yogurt and a banana for breakfast. For lunch I had a grilled cheese and fries and seltzer. They told me no candy, mints, gum.
I passed it no problem. GL!

You are supposed to eat as you normally do in the days leading up to your test, including that day. You don't want to overdo it on the sweets because that could skew the results and cause a false positive. But you should eat your regular diet so they can get an accurate reading of how your body processes glucose.

I dont think anything you eat will effect it. I od'ed on munchins the day before and passed

It *can* affect it and cause false positives. It won't in every case (you definitely got lucky! ). That's why some doctors ask you to fast for a short time beforehand.
