i am totally spooked and scared!!!
i am a little over six weeks and i have been feeling pretty optimistic and calm'ish about this pregnancy ( i have mc's in the past)
last night like a huge huge huge idiot i took a hpt bc i got scared and i wanted to see the dark lovely lines again. ( previously the test line was MUCH DARKER than the control line)
fast forward now like 6 tests and either the lines are the same darkness or the test line is only a little darker than control line.
i know hpts arent diagnostic and i did see the heartbeat on wed...
but why would it be doing this? my betas arent a million or anythng yet to confuse the hpts so why are my lines lightening up?
i feel soooooooooooooooooo stupid yet soooooooooooooo worried.
and last night i only peed 3 times during the night instead of my usual 8 so that makes me more worried.
anyone crazy like me or words of advice?
feel sick stupid worried.

i know it's easy to say and not as easy to do, but STOP TESTING! youve had multiple betas that all confirmed that you are pregnant. different tests (whether different brands or same brand but different batch of tests) are all going to have different results

I know how you feel because I have been there done that but the color and darkness of the line doesn't mean that much..the fact that there is a line is all that matters. Try to relax and focus on the positive. Plus if you already saw a heartbeat that is a great thing too!

Seriously, your beta is way over 1,000 right now. Those test lines are NOT going to be relative to the numbers. It just doesn't make any sense because its paper and its cheap. KWIM?
Throw your tests out right now!
Also, my lines never got dark! Always really light, and I'm 18wks.

I just wanted to say, if you were 4-5wks, then it could lighten that quickly. But not at 6wks esp if you've seen a heartbeat on u/s.

leave the tests alone, they are no help anymore. once you see the hb, chance ofmc go down drastically. you are prego, congrats!

i hear you guys and that is why i am suuuuuuper pisssssed at myself bc i KNOWWWWWWW how dumb i am. yet now i am freaked and cant get out of the poopy mind frame.
gaaah. can someone drug me for a few weeks and give me a home doppler?????

Seriously Jen every time you pee on one of those imagine pulling out 8 bucks and peeing on that instead. Would you pee on 8 bucks!?!
Save your tests and your money and buy yourself some pickles and icecream

I agree with PPs stop using the tests, you are only going to drive yourself crazy, if it helps I had 2 negative pregnancy tests - never got a line and I still had excellent betas. If it would help maybe you can donate the rest of your pregnancy tests to someone on the TTC or Infertility boards, this way you are not tempted to use them

I'm 5 1/2 wks and I also took a lot of tests! My DH thinks I'm nuts lol but stop taking them, I did too b/c we are pregnant!!! I go to my DR Thur but you already went!!!! Your pregnant!!!!!!I agree....take the $ for the tests and do something fun with it lol!!!!!
