No appetite...
Hey girls I think I'm about 5 weeks and I haven't really experienced any morning sickness but I also don't really have any appetite which is not normal for me at all.
Has anyone else experienced this? I know I'm early but I'm curious and I won't have my first doc appointment until the end of this month.

Re: No appetite...
Yep ..I had absolutely no appetite in the beginning. Honestly it was horrible I couldnt even look at food and lost weight in my first trimester due to loss of appetite. Im 16 weeks now and finally am able to eat again.
dont worry it will pass

Re: No appetite...
For me I definitely noticed my digestion slowed down big time. I had to force myself to eat here and there just to fight off the nausea. I'm sure it will pass and we'll be making up for it later

Re: No appetite...
Yes, no appetite for much up until about 13 weeks or so. I think it was because my m/s was so bad that even dried toast was unappealing to me.

Re: No appetite...
I've been the same and it has gotten a little better (I'm now 9 weeks). I was never really nauseous but I have a hard time eating. See what sounds good to you on any given day and go with that. I also have a hard time eating a normal amount. I get full or feel worse after I eat a little. Just eat what you can and eat frequently.

Re: No appetite...
Im currently in that boat now. I am 7 wk 4 days but it also started early for me, around 4 weeks. Ive lost 8lbs and although Im thrilled about that I hate that I have no appetite and now when I eat I get this nasty aftertaste in my mouth which makes me want to hurl. Im hoping it will pass soon

Re: No appetite...
From 4-5weeks I dont think I was really hungry at all either. Or I would be hungry, start to eat and about two bites in be disgusted by it.
Whatever it is..its temporary..thats what I keep telling myself at least

Re: No appetite...
I go back and forth from wanting nothing to wanting just ice cream. Then dry heaving..I think we are all in the same boat.

Re: No appetite...
I have found that lunch can't come soon enough but I'm never hungry for dinner. Three nights in a row I just had cereal. Just eat whatever sounds a little appetizing and it will pass soon enough.

Re: No appetite...
I am almost 33 weeks and I still have no appetite. I have to force myself to eat. It isn't that I am sick, I am just not hungry.
Now when I am BF that is a whole other story. I can out eat DH!

Re: No appetite...
I didn't have an appetite until about week 13 (last week) and now I can't stop eating EVERYTHING.
I actually just ate a box of Junior Mints (the movie-sized box to boot)

Re: No appetite...
yes i still find at 12 weeks that its really hard for me to actually want food. my staples have been soup, salad and fruit. carbs are good too just to get something in your system
