JHS questions
Done to death I know...kindly indulge me.
I didn't want to go this route but I am done with the frizz and I have no time in the morning. I tried keratin and it did squat.
My qtns:
1. I have very thick har. When I walked out of the salon after doing the keratin, my hair was super straight and very, very flat. Other people might sport the super thin hair look better but I, personally, looked like a drowned rat. (I couldn't wait to wash it so I could have the body back, but like I said, it went back to normal anyway, so whatever.)
My question is: Did JHS take away your body and make your hair very, very thin? I am afraid to do this for this reason, since it's permanent.
2. Also, much quicker - Can I color over it? I only color to cover grays.
TIA!

Yes- I have had both. JHS makes it even straighter and flatter. It definitely looks thinner after JHS than brazilian.

That's my issue now, too. I've gotten mixed responses. I'm getting JHS this weekend and hoping to get some color to cover grays, but waiting to hear what they say when they see my hair.

Re: JHS questions
JHS made my hair SO flat. I have done it twice before. That said, I do love how low maintenance it is and once it starts to grow out a little you get a little body back. I just have wavy hair, not super curly, so I was able to allow it to fully grow out before doing it again. If it is going to be a super noticeable difference from your regular hair this may not be an option...

Re: JHS questions
1. Yes, it will be thinner. I have very thick hair and it is obviously thinner for the first few weeks. Once my hair starts to grow in it gets the volume back - now it is normal (about 2 months post JHS)
2. I think you must wait. I don't color my hair yet (although I should!) but I knwo the stylists were very concerned with knowing if I colored or not. Breakage and fragile hair is a big factor with so many treatments.
