NT scan
My doctor said it was optional but I want to do it and scheduled it for 9/20..what is the difference between that and Level 2?

NT scan assesses the baby's nuchlear translucency (the neck) which is a marker for downs syndrome. NT scan is done in the first trimester- usually 12wks.
Level 2 is done in the second trimester and is the anatomy scan. Looks at baby's anatomy. This is the scan where they can usually tell the sex. Usually done around 20wks.
