Thinking of my LI Friends....

Hey Ladies,
I have been watching the news about the hurricane and have been hoping and praying you are all doing okay. I have been a member her for some time, but live in Florida. We worry about hurricanes all the time...I just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you and hope all is well with you and all of my NY family!

Thanks Debbie! We have no power since early Saturday morning and I'm pretty sure my basement is flooded. I'm watching 3 houses right now since my parents and brother are away and no one has power which means my morning is being spent emptying fridges & freezers in which things are melting and smelly. super fun when your sense of smell is already heightened!
That being said, things could be so much worse, and I'm thankful that all the stuff that happened is minor in the grand scheme of things!

Wow! I hope things get back to normal for you. I know how you feel, although it has been several years since we have had a bad hurricane here in FL. That one year of about 5 in a row, I lost power for a week, lost everything in the fridge and freezer in the house and garage. Then two weeks later, just when we stocked up with food, it happened again!
