Maternity Clothes

Not busy at work these days - nice but now I am spending all my time thinking about being pregnant!

How many maternity clothes did you buy?

# work pants
# work dresses/skirts
# casual pants (jeans, sweats, etc.)

# work tops
# casual tops

anything else?

When did you first start wearing maternity?

I am really tempted to order a few basic things on destination maternity - even though it is early, they have 40% of sale and the stuff is super cheap. (thinking of layering tanks, workout pants, etc.)

I have 5 pairs of work pants
2 dresses (wore to my shower & a wedding)
2 capris
1 pair of jeans (which I never even wore this summer)

5-7 t-shirts (some are non-maternity, just a size up)
5-7 nicer shirts

As far as when I started.. I really pushed it with my regular clothes as long as I could with belly bands (whatever they're called). Probably started at almost 20 weeks.

I have purchased:

3 pairs of work pants
3 or 4 pairs of casual pants/capris
2 pairs of maternity jeans from the Gap
10-15 shirts between casual and work (a bunch I can use for both)
7 maternity dresses
2-3 tank tops
3 maternity sweaters/hoodies

I have also been either given or lent a bunch of maternity clothes from friends and family which includes some other dresses, casual and professional tops, work and/or casual pants, nursing tanks and jeans. I can't use all of it, but it definitely helped.

I had to stop myself from buying more because I know as I get bigger and the seasons change I will need to buy more stuff anyway.
