Where to Buy Satin Ice Fondant Locally?
Where can I buy Satin Ice fondant? I've read about Chocolate Duck in Farmingdale, but I'm wondering if there's any place closer to me. I'm in southwest Nassau. TIA!

I've only seen it at the Chocolate Duck. And it's super expensive there. I try to buy online when I can.

does it have to be satin ice?
Michael's sells Duff Fondant (Ace of Cakes guy)...its really good! i forget the actual brand name, but its a good brand just labeled with Duff.

It doesn't have to be Satin Ice per se, but I need a brand that does not have any animal derived ingredients (fish is okay though). It's where the gelatin or glycerin comes from that matters most. I'm making a cake for a crowd that doesn't eat pork or its by-products. I'll check out the ingredient list for Duff when I go to Michael's tomorrow!
