Crockpot Ribs Questions
Hi ladies!
So I am making the slow cooker ribs recipe that's posted on here. They've been cooking for about 3 hours now but the sauce got really thin. Is this normal? It was thicker (BBQ sauce/ketchup consistency) when I poured it all over the ribs & now it's more like a broth rather than a sauce . Will it thicken up once it is set to "warm?" Also, I have it on LOW but it is still bubbling in there.
I have never used a crockpot OR made ribs before so I could use all the help I can get .
TIA!

Re: Crockpot Ribs Questions
I haven't made this recipe exactly but it is normal for the sauce to thin out from the juices in the meat. If it is too thin, maybe add some extra bbq sauce at the end to thicken it up.

Re: Crockpot Ribs Questions
thank you
I am hoping it will thicken up a bit once it stops cooking and is just on the "keep warm" setting. If not, I'll add more BBQ sauce on top.

Re: Crockpot Ribs Questions
Yes, I know that does tend to happen when I make pulled pork in the crockpot. Hope it's yummy!
