No appetite
Im only 4 weeks 2 days pregnant and dont feel like eating anything. I am hungry but the thought of food is unappealing to me right now. I dont really have that nauseous feeling anymore and Im not vomitting so I dont know if it MS I just dont want to eat. All I had today was a pizza for lunch...I know I should eat but just dont feel like it. Any advice?

Re: No appetite
I hate that feeling. It usually hits me worst around dinnertime. Most nights I pick at my dinner and then have a bagel with cream cheese before bed instead.

Re: No appetite
This was how morning sickness started for me. The loss of appetite at about 5 weeks, 5.5 weeks was the gagging and then 6.5 weeks throwing up until, well I am 24 weeks and still have moments of ms. I miscarried previous to this so I actually felt better when I threw up, a weird comfort if you will Feel good! Try eating small meals if you can and whatever appeals to you! H&H!

Re: No appetite
Ugh! I know that feeling from my last pregnancy. Just know that you are not hurting the baby. I was panicked last time because before I lost the baby, I had lost 12 lbs during my first trimester. But my MD kept assuring me that it wasn't hurting the baby - they'll just use your stored fat if they aren't getting enough from you. They are pretty self sufficient in that way this early on. But it is important for you to stay nuroushed. Just try to do some bland carbs. Hopefully they won't make you'll feel sick and you'll get something out of it.

Re: No appetite
You're not hurting the baby. Baby only needs like 100 calories a day now, and you're surely eating that! It's taking it from you either way.
I had almost no appetite for a really long time, way into my 2nd trimester. I called pregnancy the best diet I was ever on. . Of course, eating 500 or so calories less than I normally did, I still gained about 14 pounds in the first 20 weeks. It's weird! But normal.

Re: No appetite
I have lost 6 and gained 1 pound this entire pregnancy. I eat when I'm hungry and stop eating when my body tells me to. If it were'nt for lunch and my nighttime ice cream, I would get no calories in. Dont force it, you don't want to get sick. Eat what you can, when you can. Im 17weeks today.

Re: No appetite
I'm kind of in the same boat. Not exactly nauseous, I just don't like the idea of eating anything. I try to eat a little bit at a time throughout the day. Whatever I can get down.
