Opposite of constipation?? Anyone else?
So my entire life I suffered from horrible constipation but since getting my BFP (Im 4 weeks along now) Ive actually been going to the bathroom more often and with no trouble. I actually even get stomach aches if I dont go right away. Is this normal? I hear of so many women that suffer from constipation when pregnant but can it be the other way around too?

Me! That was me in the beginning. At around 12 weeks I hit a wall and suffered from constipation for two weeks. After that, I was fine.

I've had awful diarrhea (TMI), but I read online that it's normal due to the increase in progesterone. I didn't have it last PG.

Ugh, not looking forward to that at all. Its bad enough I already suffer from constipation now its probably going to be 10x worse. Guess I should start stocking up on Colace

i had that from about weeks 6-9.. it gave me hemmorhoids that lasted for months..

happened from day one and it got a little worse later in the pregnancy so my Dr told me to stop taking the supplement to the pre-natal, the DHA pill, bc that could be aggravating it. Since I stopped that it has been better.

Yes, this was me the first few weeks! I went from going to the bathroom once every couple of days to going 2 and 3, sometimes 4 times a day! It has since slowed down but I still go at least once a day now.

oh god yes, I didn't have troubling going with DD but with DC #2 I went alot and also had loose bowels (sorry TMI) that made me have stomach ache after going so much. It ended just before 10 weeks.

Yup, I go anywhere from 2 - 4 times a day! I have had a little diarrhea for a day or 2 here and there, but nothing crazy. For the most part, I'm just incredibly regular! I had the same thing throughout my entire last pregnancy too. One of my friends has always had major constipation issues, like you, and the only time in her adult life that she was regular was the 9 months she was pregnant! Consider yourself one of the lucky ones

That was me for the first 10 weeks... It was a god send.. I have horrible issues with constipation.. It was short lived though.. By 12 weeks I couldn't go again.. And 21 months pp, I still can't go..

i have a history of IBS (constipation) but during the pregnancy i flip flop between diarrhea and constipation... always a terrible stomach ache! GI said it was definitely the hormones...

Oh I am very happy for it lol. Finally in the 28 years of my life I actually enjoy going to the bathroom LMAO. I do hope it sticks around for a little longer I do not want horrible constipation again.
