Im starting to freak out!
My c-section is in 9 days and im starting to have flashbacks of DD's delivery and the stpah infection and post partum heart failure...im scared to death I will get another infection. They never found out if it was the c-section of one of the 5 nurses who did my IV that gave me the staph so im freaking out....
I mentioned it to my OB but he is more like "the odds of that happening again are slim" but yo never know. Same nurses, different OB thank god, same OR room....im scared, it almost killed me last time. 9 days!!!

I can't imagine how you are feeling but try to be positive and focus on your baby that will be here soon. Hopefully in light of your past experience they will be extremely sensitive to cleanliness and awareness. Good luck!

I would feel exactly the same way, but try to listen to DH. He's right. It is very unlikely that it will happen again, but when you are in the heat of it, its hard to see that. I wouldn't want to have gone through what you went through, but try to remember that it was a situation that is not common! And your little boy will be here soon!

I don;t blame you for freaking out.. but stay positive. I'm sure you'll have wonderful experience this time around.. and like your DH said, its not common at all, and unfortunately for you, that is your one and only experience.. and its scary! Everything will ok

Im having a repeat c section on Monday, the 22nd and im starting to freak out as well. I didnt have the issues that you did, but im just nervous about the surgery. Im sure everything will be fine, just focus on the wonderful outcome!!!
