Long shot but- Top Coat at Nail Salon?
Does anyone have any clue what this top coat would be?
I got a mani on monday- the first time in MONTHS beause I normally don't have the time and also because I am used to manis lasting about 1-2 days before chipping. I had some free time and figured I'd treat myself - even brought my own polish so I could touch up the chips.
The lady used my polish and some top coat that I didn't recognize. I really couldn't see the bottle, but it was a short fat round bottle and the bottle was a cobalt blue color. Well let me tell you- this mani has lasted all week with only a little bit of wear around the edges. But NO CHIPS!
Anyone know what this top coat is?
I can go back and ask next time I guess, but I won't get there for a while.
Long shot but figured someone might know!

Was it quick dry?
Their typical top coat always chip but this past wk she put quick dry on (cause my dd was there and impatient) and it didnt chip as quickly. lasted a lot longer.

Hmmm- it might have been. I didn't stay long under the dryers and it seemed pretty dry pretty fast...

Did it have any writing on it or anything or was it a plain bottle?? They do sell different color bottles that salons can fill with whatever product they're using like this:

my nail salon uses "Out the Door" quick dry or "Duri Rejuvacote" if it helps!

It may not be just the top coat that is keeping your manicure form chipping. I find that when I bring my own polish it always lasts longer. I think becuse they thin out the salon stuff.

I feel like there was something on it- a sticker, some writing? Ugh I should have paid more attention but I figured it was just the usual salon top coat and would chip the next day so why bother! Next time I go I'll do some more investigating!
