For anyone worried about frizzy hair in the delivery room...

Check out this product on the Fashion and Beauty Board

I used it for the first time today and it REALLY made a difference. I usually get my hair Japanese straightened, but haven't been able to since being pregnant, and my hair has a mind of its own these days.

I don't mean to sound vain, but my hair gets so frizzy, I was cringing at what my DH would see when I was in labor (I'm sure that will be the last thing on my mind when it's actually happening). Well, I feel a little better about sweating during labor now that I know I'll be using this product, which REALLY reduces frizz better than anything else I've used... and I've used a LOT!

I bought it with my $5 off coupon at Bed, Bath and Beyond and it came to about $18. LOVE IT! Chat Icon

Just thought I'd share...

i bought a similar product (cheaper)from amazon and it truly works.... all ive had to use the last 2 days is some hair spray... otherwise my entire head needs to be full of gel to make my hair curl without the frizzy moptop look going on! lol

ok, i'm totally trying this stuff. Not PG by the way but wanted to share a funny story. I was so worried about frizzy hair during delivery that I had my SIL come into the delivery room (while I was in labor but after the epidural) to straighten my hair with a flat iron. The video is really funny! A girl has to have her prioritiesChat Icon

I ordered it from Amazon!! Just got it yesterday. I may be induced tomorrow and will be using it in the morning!

I also do JHS but having had it done for over a year due to pregnancy and my curly, frizzy roots are a nightmare!!!

THANK YOU!!! I've been thinking about this so much and was seriously contemplating packing my flat iron in my hospital bag!! I'm going to go to Bed Bath & Beyond tomorrow to buy this!!! What size bottle did you get for $18?? That price is great!

I don't know the exact size - there was only one. It's a "balm" that comes in a tube - but the tube is in a box when you buy it. I'm sure Harmon has it, too... same company as BBB. I thought I was going to use a TON of it in my thick, frizzy, curly hair - but a relatively small amount goes a long way!!!

It's already in my labor bag - just in case! lol. Here's a picture of the tube. Amazon shows it's 3.3 oz.

Re: For anyone worried about frizzy hair in the delivery room...

that's amazing! so after using it my hair can air dry and besides not being frizzy, it will not look dirty???

I normally use Miracle 10 stuff, and thought that was great, but after a while I feel like its been making my hair feel dirty after putting it in to air dry...so now i only use it when i blow dry or straighten

I didn't let mine air dry... I put it in while it was still wet and then pulled it back tight while I did other stuff. THEN I blow dried it and got MUCH better results than I normally do. Someone said it works with the heat. And I think it gets better and better the more you use it.

Granted... my hair doesn't look pin straight like it does when I get it Japanese straightened, but a TON better than it's been looking lately!

Oh - and my hair doesn't look dirty! Chat Icon
