possible yeast infection...

sorry this is TMI.... i was just examining the TP and found a creamy kind of discharge with a slight blue tinge in color! sorry tmi... i'm suspecting it might be yeast or the gel from the internal u/s yesterday... anyone have yeast infection and experienced something similar? Chat Icon i don't know what would've caused the yeast if it is... the only thing different in my routine was i ate a block of cheese before going to bed last night Chat Icon

Yeast infections are very common during pregnancy and not a big deal to treat (the normal treatment). If the discharge continues, I would call your dr and have it checked out.

Re: possible yeast infection...

Yeast infections come and go. Before becoming pg, I'd get them once a month (seriously! My body chemistry is "off") but haven't gotten one in the past 8 months... knock on wood...

Anyway, if it's a yeast infection your discharge would be like cottage cheese, not creamy. And not blue! Also, your main symptom would be itching, maybe a little burning.

Couldn't hurt to get it checked out but if you just had an internal with gel yesterday I think you don't need to be too concerned.

I agree I dont think its yeast infection. Honestly when i wipe (IM sorry TMI) Ive found it to be more creamy than usual. Happened with my first pregnancy too.

thanks gals for sharing your experience Chat Icon i just wiped (talk about addiction! ha!) and there was nothing. i'm guessing it was just the internal u/s gel stuff... i'll keep in mind about the more creamy consistency. being a 1st timer, i feel like you never know what new symptom will show up! Re: possible yeast infection...

Yeah, totally TMI but your discharge becomes creamy and off white. Stock up on panty-liners now, get ready for the snail trail...
