Spinning during pregnancy
Did any of you continue spinning during pregnancy? I know you're supposed to keep your heart rate below 140...

i stopped, i just didn't have the lung capacity/stamina for it when i started putting weight on

I use to do it sporadically.. but I stopped when TTC just in case. The heart rate of 140 was pulled back long time ago. I was worried about that too.. but if you excercise regularly, and going above 140 is ok.

I did up until I was about 20 weeks, then Dr discovered Placenta Previa so I had to stop. I would teach it once a week so that was harder because i had to talk, but when i would just take a class it was easier for me to take it easy. It was hard to stay under 140... If you were doing it before BFP then I think its ok to continue, but try to take it easy

I'm 34 weeks and still teaching my Spin classes - though I'm stopping after this week. I definitely have to modify it for myself, and I wore my HR monitor in the beginning. I find it to be the best form of cardio for me while pregnant. I will say that I NEVER do the sprints, and stopped doing jumps a few weeks ago. I also keep my resistance lower than I normally would.

Thank you all for your advice! I would definitely love to continue in moderation as I love spinning. I just feel so good afterwards!
