Storks---Birth Announcements
My best friend and DH want to rent 3 storks to announce the arrival of our triplets (when it happens). Where can they rent them? What is the price for rentals? We live in North Shore Nassau.
Any help / information is much appreciated

I know I've seen biz cards and brochures on the way out of BBB. I don't remember the name of the company though, sorry!

Re: Storks---Birth Announcements
I'm not sure, but I just want to add that at our hospital they HIGHLY suggest NOT doing that since it's advertising you have babies at home. I guess there is a link to them and babies being abducted. Just wanted to throw that out there

I know right! I wanted to do this so bad but when I was pg w/Emmy there was a case not that far from us of this happening, and then in another state that was close a mommy was killed and her baby cut from her. Maybe i'm weird, but I just don't want to adviertise we have a newborn.

Here's a link to a several different websites that offer rentals!

For DS#1 we used Welcome Home Baby Inc and this time around we will either use them again or Signs of Love. HTH

My husband is a police officer and he said the same thing...he said when our girls arrive, there will be absolutely NO indication on the outside of our house...I wanted it to be festive when we arrived home, but if he is worried about their safety then I guess I have to compromise...

My husband was the same way as well and after our baby shower he took the boxes and trash to the dump so there were no empty boxes in front of our house...
To the OP I am sorry if offended you in posting my comment. I do know you were looking for suggestions not horror stories. I just wanted to throw it out there in case you had not heard of it that's all. I wish you well and as much as I don't like them for me I do smile and love seeing them around town! I think it will look adorable with all 3 storks outside
