ETA: so many questions.. sorry..
thank you ladies.. couple of more questions for BTDT I guess.. please bear with this novice momma..
Dr. Brown mommas.. did you find mildew or any other buildup on the parts?
If you used the plastic bottles.. did it get that musky smell after a while.. like old tupperware kinda smell.. kwim?
Glass bottles.. can you warm it in a warmer or the old fashioned way.. dip in warm water and let it gradually warm up..
No mildew - 6 mos with Dr Brown plastic bottles. No weird smell at all. I only sterilized once before we started using them. I wash by hand usually and once in a while in the dish washer. The nipples do become cloudy, though, and I reboil them once a month. Just switched up to level 3s at 6 mos old. HTH. FM if you have any other questions.

Dr. Brown's mama - never found any mildew or anything. I bought those racks for the dishwasher, never hand washed. Dish washer on sterlize setting.
