I had my baby girl!
I had my baby girl, Brynn Olivia, on Saturday July 16th at 2:03am! She weighed 6lbs 15oz and was 19 inches long.
I was admitted to the hospital at 5pm and when they hooked me up to the monitors, i was already contracting every 2 mins and i didnt even know it. I had felt some tightening in my belly but I wasn't in pain at all so i didnt realize they were contractions. It turns out i was already 5cm (i was 4cm the day before when i had my last internal at the dr's office). The dr broke my water at 6pm and i started feeling some cramping. I got pitocin a couple hours later and i felt strong contractions for an hour before i asked for the epi. After that, i felt no pain at all. Eventually, i started feeling a lot of pressure and i told the nurse i felt like i was ready to push and the dr came in to see me and said her head was right there. I only pushed for 10 mins and our beautiful baby girl came out!
it really is a great feeling. i've been exhausted but it's so worth it. and the best is seeing how cute my DH is with the baby.
