38 weeks and 2 cm
UGH!!! Was in L&D on Friday from Midnight-5 am with contractions 5 min apart, but never progressed past 1cm. They gave me an IV and hydrated me and the contractions lessened and they sent me home. I have a C-section scheduled for next Thursday morning...only one week left but it seems like it's going to be the longest week of my life!
Today I got checked and I'm 2 cm. Slow progression much? What do you think...think I'm going to last another week? It's common to walk around dilated for 2cm without any other progress, right?

Is really a 50/50 chance. With DS I was 2 cm on a Tuesday and went into labor 2 days later, 9 days before my due date. With this pg, i got checked on monday and I'm 3 cm and im not in labor yet. Due date is 2 days away.
Is your baby low? And are you effaced?

Is your baby low? And are you effaced?
Thanks. She didn't say I was effaced or if the baby was low. She only said 2cm and "floppy"...I had to laugh at that one.

I don't even know what it means  I think it means "loose"...because I've had a kid before...I don't know....not a great adjective for anything pertaining to the vagina

idk which would be worse... loose or floppy!
