Hair Color- question
I believe I have a dark dark brown hair color. Its not black or maybe it is..lol Those who know me, u tell me what you think it is.
My MIL helps color my hair, saves in the expense esp since I have greys, in a certain area that creep out every 3 months and in need of touch ups a lot!
I ask but she never seems to get me a JET black color. She tries to do the right thing and match my roots. (lol)
So...I have seen a few sport a JET black hair color and I love it. I want to achieve it. I think just recently Ashely from RHONJ has it, I love that look.
Is that in? and realistic?
I think I may just hit a salon and try to get it done.

Re: Hair Color- question
I help my mom dye her hair and we're Chinese, so our hair is as black as it comes.
But when we look for hair color, there are a zillion shades of "black" and I think most of them are really hard to pull off and look natural. It never comes out shiny enough, the color is too flat and one dimensional or it looks goth.
I think you need something with highlights or other tones to it.
I would go to a salon and let a professional do it.
I think it's too complicated to try on your own if you are looking to do a jet black but still have it look natural.

I know lmaooooooo
the thing with black is that it isn't multidimensional, so after doing it at home for a while, it tends to look "flat" in terms of the color..
BUT if I were you, I would do like I used to do, I'd do a deposit only and see if you like it... and it'll wash out gradually :) and it's less damaging on your hair..
you can get all you need at Sallys
