Re: For those of you with an anterior placenta

I didnt feel real movement until very late. Cant remember when but definitely after 21 weeks. I asked this question too when I was nervous so you can check my old posts. I think I started feeling movement a few weeks after I asked this question. Dont worry, my doctor wasnt concerned at all when I told him I didnt feel a thing!

Re: For those of you with an anterior placenta

I didn't feel anything until 20 weeks... didn't feel real movement until 22 or 23. Hang in there!

Re: For those of you with an anterior placenta

I don't feel flutters, I feel KICKS. For sure. I'm 22 weeks today, but this has been going on for about a week. But they did say I have an anterior placenta but on the left side its kind of open, sort of like off center to my abdomen.

Re: For those of you with an anterior placenta

I had flutters starting at like 16 or 17 weeks...then a few "kicks" to "that" area starting around 20 weeks.

The real movement (most of which is still very low) just started last week at 23 weeks.

Re: For those of you with an anterior placenta

Funny, I've had this with my last 2 pregnancies. With DS, I felt very little movement at all.

This time around, I feel movement all the time, real tough kicks for the last few weeks and I am 25 weeks now.

I've got some kicks going on. In fact, Sometimes I'll roll onto my stomach halfway, and then I can really feel them. I don't do it often because I feel like I'm squishing him!

Re: For those of you with an anterior placenta

Around 23 weeks I felt slight movement...like muscle spasms and then around 28,29 I would feel kicks, kicks that makes my whole belly move! I am 34 weeks now and I feel big movements at least once an hour which makes me feel better. Hang in there - it made me so sad to not be able to feel the baby like everyone else, but on the bright side (I guess) I sleep through the night because I'm not woken up by the baby movements Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
