Anyone else have pain in their ribs?
I have been having a great pregnancy. For a 43 year-old I feel fantastic and literally just have this big belly in front but for the last two days I have terrible pain in my ribs. Is this normal? I imagine that they have to move to accommodate my baby but I want to make sure I shouldn't be talking to my Dr. about this.

Re: Anyone else have pain in their ribs?
I am 20 weeks and i have been feeling rib pain lately and it drives me crazy! It ia hard for me to get comfortable at night because of this
I read that it is all normal and it is our insides moving around making room for the baby!

Re: Anyone else have pain in their ribs?
I always mention what I'm feeling to the dr because I like reassurance that its normal....that being said I have completely normal rib and hip pain.
it sucks

Re: Anyone else have pain in their ribs?
I have had major pain issues since 12 weeks in my rib area and back. On certain days I thought my ribs were cracked and needed to lay down with ice. It has been very difficult on certain days to work. Ihave long hours which makes it worse plus a 3 hour commute. My doctor said that the baby is fine and this is just how I feel when pregnant. I go to a perinatologist for sonos b/c they have better equipment than my doctor and he told me it is just "pregnancy related". On the bright side I am 36 weeks now and the pain is a lot better. Its still there but I haven't needed ice in a few weeks. Good luck.
