Ummm....people keep telling me not to use Luv diapers on boy babies...
Because is causes and erection..something in the diaper....i have heard this from quite a few different people...is this true?

That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. 
Nothing against you, I know you didn't make it up, I just can't believe anyone would think that a specific diaper would do this. DS2 wears Luvs occassionally and hasn't had any erection issues.

First off... I don't even think they can get one at that age... oh, unless they're still in diapers at 14.
I don't use Luvs, but that's just the weirdest thing I ever heard

I use luvs on my son and they are fine.
I did have a problem months ago with them, and he was leaking through them but that was bc the 4s were to small and 5s were to big. So I used pampers for about a month and then went back to Luvs.

That is what i thought, i laughed at them when they told me but since im having a boy i just wanted to make sure because they seem to be the best value...

And no, doesn't happen. In fact, a lot of people told me that Luvs is the best for boys.

from what I remember from working in day care, baby boys do get erections but I doubt its from a specific diaper!

lol this is pretty funny! Both my sons were in Luvs until the last few months when I discovered target brand works just the same! And yes my sons have had erections i think since forever... especially when you go in for those middle of the night diaper changes!

They get them regardless of the diaper, I've actually been recommended to use Luvs for boys b/c they are the best for pee esp when they're little they pee out of the diaper a lot....I never bought them though b/c I had TONS of Pampers that IL's bought us I just used those.

I used them with DS#1 with no issues for probably 2 years!
Now I am using htem with DS#2 as well.
Boys get erections no matter what they wear...its good to know the equipment works the way it should right?
