Noisy Wood Floors Making Me Crazy!!!
I have a split level home with beautiful hard wood floors. The only problem is that in some areas they are extremely noisy. It's like nails on a chalkboard everytime I put my foot down!
I've asked around and the only suggestion i got was to put baby powder on floors - which totally didn't work. even professionals didn't have a better suggestion.
Has anyone done anything to improve noisy wood floors???

my husband and I fixed our noisy floors by screwing down the lose boards but we had carpets layed over them. If you can get the the floor from underneath, you can screw them in that way, this way the floor above isnt filled with screw/nail holes.
