hemming jeans to make them shorter?
anyone do this? where do I go that is good?
I like to buy jeans in short length (even though I am 5'5'') because they always tend to pool around my shoes, but not all jeans come in short.
also, my friend swears that hemming jeans never looks right after. experiences? thoughts?

I don't do it myself, my dry cleaner has a sewing machine like they use to sew jeans, and she hems like exactly like the original hem. They look like they are supposed to be that way

I always bring it to my dry cleaners and have them hem my jeans. I go to French Plaza Cleaners in East Meadow (Modells/Northshore fitness shopping center). They are very reasonable.
They look the same to me as they did before as well!
