anyone else?!? a bit of a vent.

so ill be 19 weeks in 2 days and im barely showing.. i mean only dh and i notice im getting a little belly.. i just look liked a gained a few pounds. my clothes still fit.. shirts are getting a bit snug and uncomfortable, only gained about 8lbs... but my issue is that im so uncomfortable in my own skin. i dont remember this from the first time around. with my dd i was so nauseous all the time i was down 20lbs the first trimester so i feel like i skipped this whole inbetween stage.. but i just feel so incredibly bloated all the time i would rather have a big ol' preggo belly! my maternity clothes are literally falling off of me and im swimming in them and they look totally rediclous i need to wear reg clothes but they are getting snug... should i just go get some basics in a bigger size?!? what are you ladies doing?

For the most part, at 29 weeks, I'm still wearing my regular tops (some a size up), but I have to wear maternity pants.

My SIL taught me a trick to take a hair band and loop/twist it through the hole and around the button when you're in that in-between size. I also bought belly band (pant extenders), but I only used it a few times. The hair band worked better.

thanks paula!! and i think im going to have to look into that belly band thing.. i saw something at target that goes over the tops of the pants.. i think i need to go get that! its mainly at night after i eat my belly grows at night!
