Verizon Bill going up w/o notice
I'm so angry. I negotiated a lower rate with Verizon and then they changed it to $20 off. They then raised their rates to make it $10 more. So overall I'm only saving $10. No notice just a higher bill. I've been on the phone with them for an hour. I spoke with 3 supervisors and no one could do anything. They said the new bundles come out in June and to call back then to see if I can get a better deal.
Funny how Cablevision was knocking on our door all week. They are looking better and better.
Sorry, just needed to vent.

is this for FIOS or cable? I have heard such bad things about their service which is why we never switched.
Time Warner Blows too.

I just heard some talk show on Howard Stern's network who were discussing how FIOS will give you a package for free for a few months but its up to you to cancel it... They automatically sign you up and if you forget to cancel, you're out of luck and get charged.
a lot of companies do that actually

We switched to FIOS in January. We had the same issue... despite agreement... different bill every month for 4 months!!!
And in addition when they installed in January they couldn't bury the cable because of snow. It sat on top of my lawn.
Starting in March my DH called once a week every week about that issue alone... it was ridiculous...
Well, second week into lawn maintenance, my DH accidentally severed the line... no cable, no phone, no internet and we had to fight to get someone out there the same day.
All because of their negligence
I prefer FIOS/Verizon equipment and features but their lack of customer service is deplorable.
Cablevision is coming back today... and at a lower rate.
