getting rid of mosquitoes

I just went into my backyard and after that horrible rains last rain storm last week, I have tons of mosquitoes all over my backyard. I am supposed to have people over this weekend for a backyard bbq. Any suggestions???

ETA: No standing water anywhere either!

Re: getting rid of mosquitoes

We usually put a circulating fan on our patio when we are entertaining. It helps so much!

Sorry don't have a more aggressive idea.

We have the same problem. DS couldn't use his swingset at all last year becoz he is allergic to mosquito bites! We just got this bug repellant machine at Costco-haven't used it yet. It does not use carbon dioxide like some of the other machines on the market. It was also not too expensive. We are going hang it from our pergola. I am sorry I don't have the name with me right now-I will add it once I get home.
I have also heard that Citronella torches are effective.

we have our property sprayed 5 times a year by Long Island Tree Service in Hicksville.

We never have a problem with mosquitoes or gnats. They use all organic products too.

Can I have the number to LI Tree Service? I'd love to be mosquito free, my DS and DH have bad reactions to bites.
Thanks!
