Transfer Question

Had my transfer yesterday with IVF (they put 2 back) and will now wait a week for a pregnancy test.

My head is spinning a bit... for those who had transfers, did you have any symptoms? Did you stay off your feet? Is cramping normal after one day?

I'm trying my best to take it easy and hoping I'm not over exerting myself.

Any advice on what I should be doing or feeling? Just want to make sure it works, of course. I'm probably overthinking it all but if you have advice on what I should be doing/feeling I welcome it :)

Re: Transfer Question

The day of and day after the transfer I didn't too much. After that I just took it easy until the beta (my beta was 13dp my transfer, so there was a lot of doing nothing!). I didn't feel anything at all until 2 or 3 days after I got my BFP.

Good Luck! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Transfer Question

after my transfer i tried to relax for a few days. it was a wednesday and i took the rest of the week off.
as far as symptoms, just like any other method of TTC, you really should ignore everything. all the symptoms tend to mimic AF or early pregnancy, so just ignore everything. this goes double if you are on PIO or other progesterone.
cramping is normal at any point in any cycle. i wouldnt be concerned by it unless the cramping is debilitating or painful.
as far as what you should be doing - relaxing and distracting yourself. i know its hard but try not to look into anything or overthink it. at this point its out of your hands - it either worked or it didnt. so just try to distract yourself.

good luck!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Transfer Question

I stayed off my feet as much as I could for several days after the transfer and really took it easy. I didn't feel ANYTHING until a few days before testing. Actually, it felt a lot like AF cramps to me once the cramps did set in .. and it started to freak me out!! Chat Icon

At this point, you really can't look for signs. As hard and impossible as it seems, just try to relax and distract yourself. You'll be testing soon enough I'm sure Chat Icon Chat Icon Good luck!!
