Seasonal Allergies and Breastmilk
My allergies started becoming extremely problematic this past weekend to the point where I was unsure if a trip to the ER was going to happen last night because I could not breathe. Anyway, I spoke to the doctor today and he ok'd Zyrtec. I read online that it is excreted in breastmilk. Being 37.5 weeks pregnant and having intentions of breastfeeding I am on the fence. Obviously, I need to be able to breathe so I need to do something.
My question is are any May mommies in this situation?

I take zyrtec while pregnant, I didn't take it until after DS#2, so never dealt with it and BFing...must research - I guess pediatrician would know?

I bf for an entire year and took zyrtec - i am alergic to dust so it is always around
no one told me it was a problem and my son is very healthy
