Did Dh or will he go to BFing class with you?
I am going to the BFing class at Huntington Hospital tonight. They told me there that they encourage spouses to join. DH is willing to come but I was just wondering what others did or are doing. I will feel bad for DH if he is the only daddy to be there. But at the same time I think it will be good for him to learn alongside me this way when and if I am having trouble, he will be able to understand and be supportive.
Thoughts??

With DS we both went to the LIJ BF class. I think everyone had their DH there with them and there were A LOT of couples.

He was but we decided to get Laugh and Learn about Breastfeeding instead and worked just fine.

yes, he came with me, everyone had their DH's with them but one person and I felt bad for her...he should come with you, the person running the class said its very good for dads to be at the class too because they'll remember more of it once the baby comes and it will allow them to be more helpful to you

He didn't come with me. If there were 20 women there, maybe half had spouses with them.

Nope, I'm going solo. Hes already leaving work early for our childbirth classes at the hospital the next two weeks, so he had to pick and choose.

I'm off all summer so I was planning on taking a daytime class while he is t work.
I do not see a need for him to be there to be honest. He will be at lamaze.
