TMI - is it possible...
(really dumb question)
to lose a little amniotic fluid over time? Or does the mucous plug prevent thaT?! I am 36 weeks and 2 days and have been noticing more wetness at random times...  But, I am not sure if it is just increased discharge...
If it is fluid, is that normal and okay? I have a doc appt on Weds so I will ask them....just wondering about your experiences.

If you are leaking and you are not sure if it is discharge, fluid or urine...you need to call your doctor now and have them find out for you....I would think it is not normal to be leaking amniotic fluid...

Call your doctor. This happened to my cousin but she was about 30 weeks and called the doc. He had her come in and her amniotic fluid was low. They had deliver her son that night.
Not to scare you (he's perfectly fine), but just to be sure, I'd let the doc know.
