When do people start rsvp'ing?

Granted... my invitations only went out about a week and a half ago and we probably made the RSVP date a bit too late (June 1st), but SOOOOOO few people have officially rsvp'd.

I was hoping to get an idea of yes/no's so I could send out a few more invitations for our mini-B list. I was holding back because I'm working against a 60 person max capacity for our room.

Also, when do people generally start shopping for these things. My registry stalking results are pretty lackluster. Only two large items have been purchased so far. I wanna see action!!!

Thinking about my bridal shower, it seems a lot of the registry stuff gets bought closer to the shower date. A lot of people wait last minute, I think. At least that's what I noticed!

Registry stuff usually gets bought towards the end. RSVPing....if your like me, it's either when i first get the invite, or after the RSVP date because i file it and forget about it

My fam is soooooo last minute, so I don't even expect them all in by the RSVP date lol

My shower is June 11th.. RSVP date May 21st.. we have gotten about 10 replies/65 people invited.. but my registry has really been getting a work out.. I think it's also because in a few weeks my job is having a shower for me as well

At the last min or not all. So annoying.

I'm always reaching out to people to find out. Then when the day comes, there is always someone that doesn't show or comes when they said they weren't.



It's the one thing I HATE about throwing a party.
