We're also doing the one bedroom thing for 6 months until we move - and the BR is only 10 x 13!!!

I think it looks great! And you still have some walking room, which is much more than I have and it's only us in the room.
I think you definately made the right decision because even if you had a seperate room for her, she would be in your room in the basinette (or whatever) for a few months anyway.
