I got the OPI Shatter nail polish...(PIC)
And I really like it!
I have a light iridescent pink as the first coat.

So do you paint the base a light color & then go over it with the black shatter?

Any color can go underneath, but I didn't want anything too bright. A girl at work has neon green, but I wanted to keep it somewhat less shocking.
I had 2 coats of regular nail polish (as usual), then one coat of the shatter, then top coat.

It looks awesome! Question for you though...does it feel rough to the touch? I'd be so afraid that it would catch on things and peel off in two days

It's not really "rough", but it is raised. It's not getting caught on anything, just taking a little getting used to feeling my nails like that.

No, I keep thinking the same thing. It's like the nail polish companies couldn't come up with a solution to chipped nails so they went the other way and worked to make it a trend.

I just did it on my manicure this week I used an OPI coral kind of color underneath it looks awesome. I didn't think I would like it but it's pretty cool. I didn't put it on my toes though, I haven't seen that yet? Anyone try that?

I just got it from Amazon...I did the pink teenage dreams underneath. I like it! Didn't try the toes yet though!
