Personally I have a thing for cutsie street names.
But if I found a home on a street that had an odd, funny, or ridiculous name... I'd still buy it. The street name would never be a deal breaker. Even if it was Seamen Street (which I have seen before - I know it's spelled differently but still makes you chuckle).
I have a friend who grew up on the corner of Seaman and Cummings  . The car service people always thought she was a prank caller
haha.. that's awesome!!!
