For ppl whose LO is/was measuring big
What size outfit are you getting to bring your LO home in??
Im 32 weeks 1 day and at my sono today they told me DD is 4lbs 14 ounces...
Newborn clothes say 5-8 lbs...what are the odds that she'll fit in this at birth???

Re: For ppl whose LO is/was measuring big
both my kids were at the 5 pound range at 31/33 weeks - they were both born over 10 pounds.
They both came home in 0-3 outfits. I tried a NB on #1 and I could barely snap it. I never tried with #2.
They were both out of 0-3 in 2 weeks

Re: For ppl whose LO is/was measuring big
DS was consistently measuring 2 weeks ahead. He was born at 38 weeks exactly at just about 8lbs. He came home from the hospital in a Ralph Lauren size 3 mos romper. Just for future reference, RL runs small! He never wore NB. No one bought us any, and I didn't buy any myself.

Re: For ppl whose LO is/was measuring big
i really wouldn't bother with newborn sized clothing even if my baby was measuring normal.
they grow out of SO fast -- i'd stick with 0-3
