Do you toss stained potholders?

not ones that are displayed but in a drawer. I wash them but they look yucky to me since they have grease and sauce stains on them. Should I toss or just be more careful when cooking?

The silicone ones are great. They are called hot spots. If you dirty them, toss them in to be washed with dishes

I've thrown mine in the wash several times. But now that I think about it they are 5 years old...maybe time to get some new ones.

Here too. I'm the only one who sees them, and I use them to get dirty, so...

Re: Do you toss stained potholders?

I have black pot holders and it hides dirt really well. It matches my decor.

After running thru the wash, they look new, I guess it just doesn't show the stains.

I keep ruining my black dish towels however due to bleach/chemicals on the counter tops. Ull well, at least they aren't expensive
