My SIL....
Is moving... I knew it was going to happen - I just kind of hoped that they would change their minds or maybe forget about it.... I found out yesterday that they signed the contract...
My SIL watches Emma 3 days a week - I've posted in the past how we used daycare for 1/2 a day, and my husband pulled Emma out because of the horrible experience there, when he showed up unexpected.
We are still in the "what do we do" stage... I guess I could just use some hugs....

I am sorry that they are moving away. Maybe try to find another small daycare that will give you what you need. Where do you live? maybe some people here have some thoughts.

I live in East Setauket.... I'm going to start looking now for a small daycares.
I just loved that Emma enjoyed going to my SIL house - She has 2 little boys that just adore Emma... It was as good an arrangement as you can get. I'm really upset about it.

I know how hard it is.
I recently found a local sitter who watches a few other kids that I use 2 days a week, that I am happy with (Im in Queens) After checking out 3 daycares I was not really impressed.
My mom had watched Claire up till that point 5 days a week, so it was hard for us to transition.

I know a lady with a small day care in Holtsville, right off o fte LIE at exit 62 (Nichold Road, I think it is 62). Let me know if you want her number.
