How does DH's b-day trip sound to you...

We'll be gone for 4 days in May

Day 1
Drive to Niagra falls and possibly do cave of the wind tour before crossing to canada
Clifton hill attractions
Dinner at KEG

Day 2
Journey behind the falls
Maid of the mist
Dinner at Skylon Tower


Day 3
Check out and Drive to cooperstown to see the baseball hall of fame (he's a fanatic)

Day4
Check out Howes Caverns on our way back to LI

I want to stay a night either in cooperstown or by the caverns not sure which has more attractions

Do you think its too much to pack into 4 days? Other option would be to skip cooperstown and caverns all together. we've never driven so far so not sure how tired we"ll be

Wow.. it sounds like you've packed a lot into those 4 days!

I've honestly only done Cooperstown, and i can tell you that we were in the museum for 4 hours, then went back for another 2 hours later in the day (my dh is fanatic too) and spent more time wandering around the town and shops. It was a loooong day so you'd probably want to stay there that night.

It was a 4 hour drive back to LI from Cooperstown and we stopped at a few flea markets and for lunch, but i can't imagine doing much else along the way, especially after having such a packed few days beforehand.

the trip sounds great, its just a lot to squeeze in that amount of time when you factor in the travel time and how tired you can be after sitting in a car for that long
