I need to get out of my house...
After two weeks of not being able to go anywhere but Dr's appointment for me and DD, the doctor finally said I can drive!!! (I had to wait three weeks after my c-section to drive)
The question I have is can I take DD to BRU at 3 weeks old or should I just stay outside? Did any of you take them anywhere at that age? TIA

I went to BRU at about 4 weeks (but he had only been home about 2-3 weeks).

We only went on walks in the neighborhood, but she was born in February so I was worried about her getting sick from other people.

DD has been home for a little over 2 weeks and she is 3 weeks today!!!
I think we will take a trip to BRU. I need some stuff and I have to return a few things. I can't wait to bust out my baby Bjorn!!!!
ETA: I think if she is in baby Bjorn she will be fine. No one can reach in there to touch her without touching me too!

We took her to BRU at 3 weeks with permission from the doc. As long as we policed it and made sure noone went near her, he said it was totally fine...
we took her in her infant seat and she was GREAT!

I was in the car and off to the supermarket, stores, BRU, etc as soon as I got the ok after my c-section.
Aidan was in the car seat with the hood down so no one could get up in his grill if you KWIM  I didn't do major shopping since I wanted to use the snap and go, just small stuff which is all I was up for anyway~

I think there’s a thing about re-circulated air.
Like, if you were to go out to dinner and sitting in a restaurant for an hour or more some DR's may say it's not a great idea but I'm sure a place as big as BRU and the fact that you wont be there for hours is fine!

I might be the minority on this one, but I took Gianna out when she was a week and half old and have been ever since. She just had her first mall trip at 3 weeks old, and she's been grocery shopping, at target several times, with DH to get a haircut as well as dr's appts. she's even been out to breakfast at 2 weeks old!
there's no way i could stay couped up! My ped said, there's no reason to be segregated, just don't let strangers touch or hover over her

I took DD as soon as the dr told me I can take her out which was like 2 1/2 weeks she was born labor day weekend so I was out and about I took her to target but I put the netting over her carriage so no one could touch her

Take her out!!! I was also going nuts and I took my son out at 3 weeks old to BRU and I loved it!! I was so happy to get out and shop. We went to Target, the mall and BRU.
She will be in the carseat (probably asleep) and no one will come near her!!
Have fun!!!
