Re: Share your registry?

I have 2 registries:

BRU

and

BBB

The BBB one has cloth diapers on it.. but we aren't doing cloth... I have them on there to use as burp cloths. My SIL's suggested it. They said they work much better than actual burp cloths bc they are larger and can contain more.

ETA: a lot of my stuff on BBB doesn't show bc it's in store only so you can't see it!! GGRRRR Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

the links won't work - she needs your first and last name.

I'd share, but didn't register yet.

That's so frustrating about your BBB registry, I think my instore items only are listed on the bottom as instore only can't be purchased online, but they show up there. I wonder why yours don't show up at all? I added most of my stuff online so I wonder if there is a whole world of stuff I could have registered for that I never saw, haha

the abbreviated name shows up... but there's no pic or any details of the item at all. so I can't tell what it is exactly. and for some of the abbreviated names, i don't even know what they are at all.

and i'm not talking about 10 items... like 60 something items are like this!!!

also, i have some clothes and stuff on there that I can't see what size i registered for... and I know i duplicated some stuff thinking I could fix it later... and now I can't... bc I don't know which is the good and bad duplicate.

I don't drive (live in queens) and so it's not that easy for me to get to the store to fix the registry. Also, the in store print out has no pics either so IDK how much that would even help me to fix it. so annoying!

Re: Share your registry?

oh and btw.. i emailed them about this and made a suggestion to fix it. i told them other baby registries don't work like this and that i was part of a pregnancy board where this was the biggest complaint from a lot of girls.
they said they would forward my request to the appropriate dept.
i doubt anything will happen... but at least i tried!

Re: Share your registry?

The Aiden & Anais burp cloths / bibs are AMAZING. I highly, highly recommend them!!!! Same with their swaddling blankets. We use it for everything, including around DD's head in her infant car seat so it doesn't wobble (you're not supposed to put anything under her, but a blanket around her head is allowed), and also as a blanket when she's in the FP newborn napper.

I use cloth diapers on top of the large waterproof pad on the changing table (or surface, since I change DD on the living room floor) with a small waterproof pad on the bottom part where she usually pees the minute after I've taken off her diaper. Then, when she wets everything, I can just swap out whatever layers of it get dirty. She's only once explosively pooped at me. Chat Icon The cloth diapers have also been great for drying off bottles after I put them in a large mug of boiling water to heat them (I have an electric hot water pot in our kitchen I had before, so I use that instead of a bottle warmer).

Some things I wish I'd had on my registry:
-pacifier pod
-white sound machine (homedics makes a great one that also has a small projection light that moves and it's only $20)
-dr. brown's formula mixing pitcher (I had planned to BF but wasn't able to, and this is an amazing item)

Some things I love that I received:
-moby wrap
-very simple swing (~$50 from target)
-diaper champ
-FP newborn napper Chat Icon
-shopping cart cover
-closet organizer
-ear thermometer
-super soft boppy slipcover (having a soft cover makes such a difference!)

I just did my registry completion order from Amazon this week and received my packages today (if you're friends with me on facebook, I put a picture of the 6 boxes I got up!) -- some of the things I got for myself that I hadn't received are:
-breathable bumper
-PnP waterproof pad for under the sheet
-feeding items (cups / bowls / plates / spoons / sippy cups, mesh feeder bags, no-spill snack bowls, etc)
-more pacifiers (soothies)
-pacifier "cord" -- the connector thing you can put on the baby so it doesn't fall to the ground, but isn't long enough to strangle the baby
-wannube pacifer doll
-extra bottles of the ones DD likes
-medium flow nipples for the bottles
-side sling bag for my stroller
-waterproof cover for my stroller (was on clearance too!)
-more wipes... OMG you use so so so many wipes!!!

When people who want to give us gifts ask me what we would like, I'm mostly asking for books now. We just got a nice set of Dr. Seuss ones, which makes me so happy. Chat Icon

HTH! I still have to finish my registry completions at BBB and Target (Target is awesome -- you just get a 10% off a whole day of shopping coupon you can use on anything in the store, pretty much!) Chat Icon

when i tried it just took me to the main page, that's why i assumed we need the name.

ETA: sorry it's just the BRU that didn't work!
