cramps/pain - question
I'm 7w5d and last night i was getting a weird crampy feeling - only in my right side - and it felt like... you know when you drink too much water/fluid before exercising and get that cramping? that's what it felt like. I was thinking it's not gas pain bc it was only on that side (and opposite from my stomach). I'm not bleeding/spotting or anything (nor have I since 12dpo). I've already had my first appt. I know there's no real answer for this but I'm just looking for some BTDT advice/reassurance. Anyone?
Thanks.

Re: cramps/pain - question
I've been getting crampy for a while now too. I'm about 10 weeks. I did some research online and it said that the uterus is expanding which causes cramps. i think as long as there's no bleeding, it's pretty normal. HTH a little

Re: cramps/pain - question
in the beginning i used to get what i described as a "twinge" feeling on one side. not sure what it was. it'd be like this quick twinge pain and then it would go away. it stopped for me around 10-12 weeks

Re: cramps/pain - question
I had cramps on only one side for the first few weeks I knew I was PG. That went away eventually and switched to my other side. Then I felt it all over. Then I got used to it haha. Feel better, but it sounds like you're body is just stretching! .

Re: cramps/pain - question
Oh sure, lots of weird things are happening in that general area. I've had cramps like period cramps, I have had pulling, stabbing pains, soreness like someone punched me in the belly... the latest is ligament pain: a hot, sharp pain like being cracked with a whip along my bikini line whenever I stand up too fast or sneeze or cough. That's a fun one to look forward to for you.
Remember how much is going on in your belly area now. Any mild pains, or bad pains that don't last too long, are to be expected.

Re: cramps/pain - question
For me, at that point in the pregnancy, the pain/cramping was from a cyst. Totally common to develop them after the egg drops and eventually it goes away.
